Basket Weave Beanie

Crochet:

The Basket Weave stitch has become very popular, and is widely used for hats, scarves, blankets, afghans and dishcloths.  A great all rounder pattern. 

Here I have used it for a beanie.  The size is very adaptable.  I have completed this one in a child's size.  It is worked from the crown down.
